Is Discount Hunt working on mobile?
Yes. Discount Hunt was built with a mobile first approach and is working perfectly both on desktop and mobile devices.
Is Discount Hunt AdBlock safe?
Yes. All parts of Discount Hunt are AdBlock safe.
Is Discount Hunt GDPR ready?
Yes. All the information collected by Discount Hunt are stored in a secure database with additional security and authentication layers.
The information is only stored in the application as long as the store owner needs it. Store owners also have the ability to review and delete all the information collected by a unique user.
When a user fills the Discount Hunt data collection form, the following information is collected:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email address
- Optional additional information
Third party trackers and cookies are not used by Discount Hunt.
Can I run multiple Discount Hunt sessions on my store at the same time?
No, you can’t. You can have only 1 active session in your store at a given time.
How can I delete the app from my store?

What happens if I remove the app from my store?
If you remove the application from your store, all sessions and collected user information will be removed from the database of Discount Hunt as well, right after you removed the application.
I accidentally deleted the application but I forget to download the collected user information. Can I get it somehow?

I accidentally deleted a Discount Hunt session. Can I restore it somehow?
No, all session data and collected user information got removed from our database when you confirmed the delete request.
I don’t want to collect any user information, is it possible to turn it off?
The way Discount Hunt works, this is not possible. Collecting user information is mandatory.
Can I change the design of the popup?
With additional CSS, you can. You have to add your additional CSS to the stylesheets of your theme. If you need help to do it, feel free to get in touch with us.
Can I change the design of the success email?
At the moment, you can’t.
What happens if I choose the option to use more discount codes and every code can be used only one time and I run out of codes?
If you run out of codes, Discount Hunt won’t display the session icon for new visitors. If you run out of codes while someone is filling the data collection form, the form will disappear when they submit it.
It looks like that someone collected more than one code even though multiple code collection is not turned on. How is this possible?
Discount Hunt is using cookies to identify visitors who already collected discount codes in a given session. If someone removes these cookies, or using another browser or device to visit your site, they can collect additional discount codes.
Will the session icon automatically pop-up after a user spent the defined amount of time on the website?
No, the icon will become visible when the visitor hits refresh or visits another subpage of your store.
When I preview the discount hunt session it doesn’t use the latest version of the settings I defined. Why is that happening?
Make sure that you saved your changes before you click on preview. If you saved your changes but the result is still the same, wait a few minutes and try it again.
Can I use my own icons for a session?
At the moment, you can only choose one from the available icon options.
I can’t see my sessions/hunters/etc.
It is possible that your security session expired. Please, log out and log in to your store and try again. If this doesn’t solve the problem, get in touch with us from the email address you use for your store.
I’ve sent a test success email to myself, but it looks like, that I’m not receiving it.
In most cases, it takes only a few seconds but sometimes it can take 10-15 minutes to deliver your email. Also make sure that you checked your spam/junk folder for the message.
